What has King Ludwig I of Bavaria to do with the Kobe Club?

When Ludwig I married the Princess Therese in 1810, he has the idea for the first Oktoberfest, which took place in Munich, and now, only a few years later, it came to the Kobe Club.

And we must say it was a great celebration, and not worse than the original.
Excellent Bavarian food of course including Sauerkraut, Kasseler, bread dumplings, apple strudel ...
Chefs from Bavaria would salute before Kamiki-san and his perfect team.  The food was as good as the German model or better.
With Bavarian music and German beer, many of the approx. 70 participants showed their skill in nailing a wooden beam and can knockdown, the best (and the worst) of course got small prizes, as is usual at the Oktoberfest.
Okay, King Ludwig I of Bavaria did not come to our party, but nevertheless “Prince Poldi” like the Germans Lukas Podolski from the German Football World Champion Team of 2014 lovingly call, came with his family and gave the event an “aristocratic“ framework,
Overall a very successful premiere, which should be continued safely. And the rumors say there are already brass bands in Kansai who practice for the big performance next year.
Our thanks to all the team at the Kobe Club for this wonderful evening.
